The Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) Demand Analyst reports into the Global Demand Manager and is responsible for working with the Global Industrial sales team to collect their long-term unconstrained demand forecast. Working within our forecasting tool ‘JDA’ to support data analysis and reports to drive the consensus forecast and understand any significant changes/exceptions to the demand trends. Also working with sales leaders and Account Managers to improve Forecast Accuracy.
The demand analyst must have excellent communication skills as well as analytical ability.

Job Description


•    Work closely with Finance on the regular collection of Unconstrained Demand Forecast for top accounts and channel partners in all regions
•    Collect, evaluate and interpret forecast data to ensure correct level of forecast and no errors are contained within
•    Loading forecast into our forecast tool ‘JDA’ and using this tool on a daily basis for analysis purposes.
•    Support the monthly S&OP process for sales by participating in the Product and Demand Reviews
•    Work with Sub Vertical Demand Managers/Analysts and sales Operations to agree on gap alignment between Product Management and Sales and come to a consensus.
•    Prepare forecast accuracy measurements reports, analyze differences and implement or recommend improvements.
•    Support the global Sales and Operating Planning (S&OP) process and Demand Consensus Process by ensuring an efficient, effective and reliable sales input
•    Partner with Sub Vertical Demand Managers and Analysts to share best practices and forecast insights
•    Partner with the sales organisation, global product management team and Finance team in the quarterly commit sales forecasting process, and annual sales budgeting process.
•    Drive continuous improvement on processes and methodologies for collecting information and predicting demand.
•    Consistent attendance, understanding of and compliance with all TE policies, rules and regulations.


•    A minimum of 5 years of Data Preparation and Manipulation experience is required
•    Must demonstrate understanding of how data can be manipulated, analyzed and visualized effectively
•    English fluent 
•    Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office tools
