Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic S&OP Business Process Expert with deep expertise in Capacity Management to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global capacity planning processes within the S&OP framework. This role ensures alignment between demand forecasts and available capacity, supports strategic and profitable investment decisions, and drives resilience in the supply chain through proactive planning and localization strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Design & Optimize Capacity Planning Processes: Develop and standardize best-in-class capacity management processes across global sites, aligned with S&OP maturity goals.
  • S&OP Integration: Ensure capacity planning is fully integrated into the monthly S&OP cycle, enabling scenario planning, constraint visibility, and executive decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional & cross-regional Collaboration: Partner with key functions like manufacturing, engineering, demand planning, and finance to align capacity assumptions, constraints, and investment decisions. Collaborate with regional S&OP teams to align demand signals with capacity constraints and investment planning.
  • Digital Enablement: Own development of critical IT infrastructure in close collaboration with the regional Business Teams, technical Developers and App Designers to proactively manage production resources, CAPEX allocation, manufacturing footprint optimization and localization efforts (“local for local” Strategy).
  • Scenario Planning & Risk Management: Lead capacity scenario simulations to evaluate trade-offs, identify bottlenecks, and support contingency planning.
  • KPI Development & Process Maturity: Define and monitor key capacity-related KPIs and ensure governance across business units. Drive process standardization and maturity across global planning functions using frameworks like TEOA and IBP.
  • Change Management & Communication: Build capability across global teams through training / coaching, documentation and change management initiatives.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field from tier 1 or 2 colleges
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, with a strong focus on capacity management and S&OP.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional process design and transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing environments (discrete, process, or hybrid).Proficient in SAP IBP Demand & Supply and IBP Response or IO is an added advantage.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in global or multi-site operations is an added advantage.
