Job Overview
The Program Manager – Channel Expansion and Market Development will play a critical role in the expansion and optimization of TE’s distribution network across India and Southeast Asia.
This individual will bring structure, discipline, and transparency to strategic execution—coordinating programs that accelerate revenue growth, enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer experience.
This role blends strategic program leadership with hands-on execution, partnering with regional business owners and global stakeholders to turn strategy into measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, business-minded program leader who thrives in a global matrix, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and proactively connects dots across functions, geographies, and organizational boundaries.
Job Requirements
1. Program Leadership and Delivery
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable program roadmaps with clear milestones, KPIs, and success criteria.
- Lead execution of multi-functional programs that strengthen Channel’s growth, operational excellence, and distributor partner experience in Asia.
- Proactively identify interdependencies, risks, and resource gaps —facilitating alignment and resolving issues across teams.
2. Governance and Performance Visibility
- Establish program governance routines, dashboards, and leadership cadences to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Provide timely, data-driven progress updates and insights to senior stakeholders at both regional and global levels.
- Create standardized tools and templates to strengthen program execution maturity in high-growth markets.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Strategy & Business Development to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Bridge priorities between the TE’s Channel Business Unit and TE’s manufacturing Business Units, ensuring consistency of objectives, data, and execution plans.
- Navigate across regional markets and global headquarters to align local initiatives with enterprise strategy and governance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to business owners and regional leaders across India and Southeast Asia, supporting execution planning and performance tracking.
4. Continuous Improvement and Best Practices
- Apply lean and agile principles to accelerate execution, improve visibility, and reduce constraints.
- Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement in PMO practices.
- Contribute to building scalable PMO frameworks, dashboards, and best practices to support TE’s long-term growth in Asia.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience leading cross-functional programs in a global or matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from strategy through delivery with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen, ownership mindset, and bias for action—able to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive execution without waiting for a playbook.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills; adept at building alignment across functions, regions, and levels.
- Proficiency with modern project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Advanced certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile) are a plus but not required—initiative, judgment, and business impact are the key success factors.
