Job Overview

TE Connectivity, Energy Business Unit is currently seeking a driven Pricing Analyst to join the EMEA pricing team.You’ll work as part of our EMEA Commercial team with a link to Product Management. In this role you are responsible for determining the price of new and existing products & services by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.You will be assigned to handle the pricing activities for specific accounts / territories / products by following the pricing process, policy, DOA and business rules to ensure quotes and corresponding pricing decision to be made accurately upon customer speed. With the accumulated knowledge of pricing system/tools, advanced pricing analysis will be expected to be delivered by this role to assist pricing manager and pricing stakeholders (such as Product Management, Sales, Customer Care etc.) to address operational issue, achieving business objectives and drive for improvement in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • You analyze available data to support sound pricing decisions
  • You handle different price requests, such as
    • One-off small quotes
    • Yearly price agreements revisions
    • Strategic tenders or bids
  • You ensure all prices are correctly and timely loaded in the ERP system
  • You monitor the performance of the pricing actions taken and of our pricing agreements
  • You identify opportunities related to low margins, price erosion, commercial terms & conditions, and propose solutions that will improve our overall margin
  • You strive for continuous improvement of our pricing processes and (use of) tools available within TE
  • You communicate well with all relevant stakeholders, in particular with the commercial functions, eg Sales, Product Management, Customer Care,…
  • You ensure compliance with all internal and external pricing audit requirements

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in an analytical field, e.g. Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance… or comparable experience

  • Organizational Agility: flexibility to assume workloads which necessitate adjustment of priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English
  • Balancing Stakeholders: strong cross-functional collaboration
  • System-savvy, advancing systems skills of MS Office (Excel), SAP, reporting systems (e.g. PowerBI) and/or specific Pricing systems
  • Working experience in Pricing or related function (e.g. Finance, Sales, Purchasing…) is a strong plus
  • Understanding of TE’s product portfolio is a plus
  • Working knowledge of LEAN/Continuous Improvement Tools is a plus
