Roles & Responsibilities:

ROLE OBJECTIVE 
This position is responsible for end-to-end Product Development projects leading cross functional team with KPI’s as Launch on Time, Budget, Cost & Quality.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES


•    Lead multiple high complex Migration, New Product Development projects with end-to-end ownership of projects. 
•    Manage the development of all project activities from the initiation to the closure, covering the scope of all Functions. Work with PM/PJM and PDE to understand customer NPI requirements
•    Work with footprint PJM and Sourcing to Identify project goal and scope and requirements for migration project
•    Work with Sourcing and PBL supplier for Qualification, get engineering support if needed
•    Workout project framework/timeline, use WBS to identify deliverables and tasks in projects
•    Lead to work out project capital and expenses spending plan, capacity plan, cost model and project P&L (W/O PJM)
•    Workout project tooling development or migration timeline, including tooling development (or transfer) and qualification, sample making and delivery, product qualification and GTP
•    Stay interlocked with PjM, review and monitor projects progress and drive for implementation. Ensure successful execution to overall project timeline
•    Support tooling order and / or sample order to supplier, lead Micro Lite project and QNPI
•    Drive sample delivery on time, drive qualification and production document on schedule, system setup and safe launch on time
•    Responsible for defining & managing the project scope, budget, resource, schedule, change, Risk, communication
•    Identify the risks, issue, and manage the associated corrective action plans, addressing and resolving issues/impediments in project.
•    Lead the decision-making process at project level.
•    Stakeholder management – Manages stakeholder expectations. Setting up cadence with stakeholders for smooth execution of projects.

Must Have Skills:

•    In depth understanding of Gate process in Product development. 
•    Extensive experience in project planning & execution.
•    Experience in effective project management strategies and good project management mindset.
•    Experience in Stakeholder management, requirement management.
•    Extensive experience in Leading teams to success, collaborate across boundaries, track results, and develop Communication and responsibility matrix.
•    Good presentation and excellent communication skills.
•    Fluent in English with good verbal and written communications skills, ability to communicate Globally at all levels internally and externally.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•    Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback period).

 

PREFERABLE


•    Experience in Terminal and connector industry or products.
•    Understanding of manufacturing processes (Moulding, stamping, plating).
•    Ability to work in fast-paced, team- oriented environment.
