Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
What your background should look like:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Financial Reporting, Sales History, Productivity, Price Erosion, etc.
  • Utilize TE systems (TED 2.0, Tableau, APEX, GPMS, SAP) and analytical skills to improve product OI, minimize price erosion, and understand market pricing trends.
  • Works with a large amount of data and must be intuitive in assembling meaningful data for analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing and coordinating a variety of tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify margin and price improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Customer Care & Sales on price related activities.
  • Prepare profit and loss statements for pricing purposes, managing pricing activities, to include quotes, agreement adds/updates, and serving as a resource for questions related to prices, costs and profitability
  • Prepare customer specific quotes.
  • Maintain pricing files and price portfolios.
  • Agreement management, including new agreement setup, agreement authorization & agreement maintenance.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics
  • 5 – 7 Years of applicable experience
  • Excellent analytical skills, capability and solid business acumen
  • Excellent MS Office software knowledge.  SAP, Tableau and Business Object experience a plus.
  • Initiates action to achieve goals beyond what is required
  • Experience in pricing new/existing products and customer pricing analytics
  • Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment.
