PRODUCT MANAGER IV, UPSTREAM
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets. Develops and sets the strategic vision and direction for the portfolio(s) of products, leveraging deep understanding of technical, market, and customer needs to define the product roadmap, drive innovation and new product
development from concept to launch, and ensure alignment with business unit objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the Portfolio Business Plan to internal and external stakeholders, including product vision, long term portfolio growth targets, value drivers, and KPI’s.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop business cases that translate customer requirements to product features, driving future innovation and next-gen platforms
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, including feature identification, requirements definition, and alignment with engineering technology roadmap.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration to execute product roadmap, approve budget and product stages, and create buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to gain insights and identify unmet needs, market trends and risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and strategy teams to identify and assess fit of business partner and M&A target
- Create detailed business cases for new product initiatives, including market analysis, financial projections, risk assessment, and go-to-market confidence.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, including distribution strategy, and collaborate with downstream product and marketing team to drive go-to-market processes and initiatives.
