Supports individual products or specific technical elements for medium-sized projects.

Job Requirements

  • Support the Global LCE team with critical tasks, including CPR parts creation, E-BOM management, ECR/ECN processing, PCN handling, GAA certificate linking, datasheet linking, etc. ensuring efficient documentation and data management across the product lifecycle.
  • Apply value engineering methods to analyze materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain for cost reduction and performance improvement.
  • Design and evaluate mechanical and electrical components using 2D/3D tools, ensuring form, fit, function, and compliance with product standards.
  • Provide technical support, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve quality or manufacturing issues.
  • Prepare and interpret functional tests and material characterization to support product validation.
  • Communicate effectively in English and apply basic project management practices in cross-functional collaboration.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or appropriate similar one
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in product design or product engineering & manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience in dismantling electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes including stamping, molding, machining, and coating.
  • Awareness of cost drivers across multiple commodities such as plastics, sheet metal, machined parts, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodology and full project lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently while being flexible to work across different time zones.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactively challenges the status quo to drive improvements
  • basic knowledge in Product Environmental Compliance (RoHS, REACH, California Prop65)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as DoE, DFMEA, QFD, etc Preferred.
