Job Overview

Supervises the production of Relay assemblies for products of low to high-level complexity/density and monitors the inventory control related to that. Responsible for Production planning, man  management , production and quality targets, inspection standards, usage of inspection equipment & measurements, Aerospace  quality systems & standards(AS9100 Rev D) problem solving tools, Lean concepts  and behavioural competencies.

Job Requirements

•    To  perform  manufacturing  duties to the best of your ability, maintaining quality and efficiency standards. 
•    Responsible for  manpower planning , allocation, leave management and training and appraisals of  team members in the line as per self  managed team concept
•    Responsible for production planning, material planning and allocation of resources as per shift schedule .
•    Coordination with the CFT Push & pull to meet the delivery schedule.
•    Demonstrate care and attention to assemble the company products from component level to final build stage, as per the instructions. 
•    Maintain current product quality and make recommendations deriving alternate process methods to improve quality/productivity.
•    Continue to increase productivity levels to meet company targets , whilst maintaining quality standards
•    Responsible for improving labour efficiency of the line through lean tools practices.
•    Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives like Kaizens and other improvement projects in line.
•    Responsible for maintaining 5S and updating of autonomous maintenance records and production records as per set frequency.
•    Have awareness on the chemicals used in the assembly lines. Understand & follow the EHS requirement.
•    Responsible for ensuring safe working environment and usage of PPEs in the line.
•    Support analyzing and reducing Defects, Customer complaints and Line NCs
•    Continue to increase knowledge of all company products through job rotation.
•    Develop knowledge of company quality policies and procedures
•    Responsible for providing first cut analysis on process rejection/customer complaints and to be a part of 8D problem solving team.
•    To take additional responsibility as a pilot to drive SMT concept in the line.
•    Lead the team by examples and demonstrate the best practices in the line.
•    Responsible for SAP confirmations and presenting improvements made in the line to the management.
•    To drive eQCPC, LPA, BBS, BBQ and QCO in the line

What your background should look like

      BE/ B.Tech (Electronic, Electrical/ Mechanical)
•    Minimum two years experience in manufacturing and assembly of Relays and contactors
•    Good communication skills
•    Strong Presentation skills
•    Organising and Time management skills
