Job Overview
The AI Technology Leader will shape and scale the Medical Business Unit’s AI agenda by translating emerging technologies into practical, secure, and high-impact business solutions. Reporting to the India Medical Site Lead, this leader will work closely with the Global AI Council Lead, BU functional leaders, OneData, TEIS, and delivery teams to define priorities, accelerate adoption, and build reusable AI capabilities across engineering, operations, quality, commercial, and support functions.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on AI technology leader who can connect strategy with execution. The successful candidate will help the Medical BU unlock productivity, innovation, and speed by guiding technology choices, enabling rapid proof-of-concepts, scaling successful solutions, and developing a strong AI talent pipeline.
Job Requirements

- Drive the AI/ML strategy and roadmap, aligning technology investments with business and engineering priorities.
- Lead the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions, from rapid PoCs to scalable, enterprise-grade implementations.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to identify high-value use cases and accelerate AI adoption across the organization.
- Influence senior stakeholders and navigate ambiguity, balancing innovation speed, business value, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Responsible for AI frameworks to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant solutions.
- Build and lead high-performing AI and engineering teams through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

What your background should look like
- Graduate or postgraduate (BE or M.Tech) in Mechanical/ Electronics engineering or related engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of AI architecture, cloud and data platforms, APIs, integration, security, and technology governance.
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience in AI road mapping, leading AI deployment, in global, matrixed organizations, with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to move from experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment while maintaining compliance and long-term scalability.
- Experience in NPD, mechanical simulation, medical, manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence across functions and regions.
