Job Description:

Job Overview :

The Channel Order Management & Analytics Leader is responsible for managing the overall health of the Channel organization's global open order book and leading the team supporting order management activities. This role plays a critical role within the Channel Supply Chain organization, ensuring seamless coordination between distribution partners and TE's internal Business Units (PBUs) and manufacturing plants.

Channel operates in a unique supply chain environment where distribution partners, including Arrow, TTI, Mouser, Avnet, Heilind, and others, serve as customers, while TE's PBUs and plants act as internal suppliers. This position is accountable for driving the end-to-end supply chain flow between these stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will oversee and optimize a complex order management operation, improve supply chain visibility, and drive process excellence. In addition, the role will lead the transformation of current operational processes toward a more proactive, analytics-driven, and automated operating model. This includes leveraging data, technology, and automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and decision-making.

The role requires a proven supply chain professional with the ability to operate effectively across all levels of the organization, from detailed operational execution and planner-level problem solving to strategic decision-making and executive stakeholder engagement.

Based on the selected candidate's experience, leadership capability, and demonstrated business impact, the position may be filled at either the Supervisor or Manager level.

Roles & Responsibility:

Distributor-Facing Order Health

  • Own the health of the Channel open order book, including order intake, confirmations, past-due aging, exception aging, and OTIF delivery across 10-14 analysts.
  • Manage distributor backlog and exceptions, including past-due orders, unconfirmed lines, blocked orders, and expedites.
  • Support distributor-specific supply chain activities, including drop-ship and stock orders, DTAM/design-registration demand, inventory pulls, and allocation commitments.
  • Champion the TE Customer Value Proposition (CVP) to improve customer and distributor experience.
  • Ensure SAP execution discipline, including schedule lines, ATP, recommit dates, ABCON/Ship Note validation, and Late Reason Codes.

Internal Supplier Management & Collaboration

  • Own the Channel-to-BU supplier scorecard, including confirmation adherence, lead-time compliance, fill rates, and recovery performance.
  • Establish recurring reviews with PBU planners, schedulers, and supply planning teams.
  • Build collaborative relationships with BUs and plants to proactively identify and resolve constraints.
  • Translate supply constraints into distributor impact and drive mitigation plans.
  • Act as the escalation bridge between Channel, BUs, Customer Care, and distributors.

PILLAR 2 - Transform the Operating Model

  • Shift the team from reactive issue resolution to proactive prevention using early-warning analytics.
  • Re-engineer daily operations to provide analysts with prioritized work queues and reduce manual preparation effort.
  • Deploy Power BI dashboards that predict risks and support decision-making.
  • Create planner-focused views for response aging, recommit tracking, ATP failures, and pending actions.
  • Lead change management while maintaining operational performance and service levels.

PILLAR 3 - Institutionalize Process, Automation & AI

Automation & AI Adoption

  • Drive the automation roadmap using Power BI, Fabric, and Power Query while maintaining SAP as the system of record.
  • Replace manual Excel-based cleansing, exception handling, and work allocation with automation.
  • Implement AI-driven logic, including exception flags, ATP failure indicators, risk scoring, Next Best Action recommendations, and predictive delay management.
  • Deliver phased solutions, including automated prioritization, dashboards, workflow automation, and future-state Power Apps capabilities.

Process, Records & Compliance

  • Standardize and document SOPs for all order management activities.
  • Develop auditable tracking and record-keeping processes for data intake, task logging, and status history.
  • Standardize exception codes, aging buckets, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Modernize FTZ program maintenance through automated tracking, reconciliation, and compliance management.
  • Standardize SAP update procedures and controls to ensure accurate, repeatable, and audit-ready execution.

  • Prior people management experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead, or Manager (mandatory).
  • Strong SAP expertise (SD/MM modules) with the ability to drive accurate order execution and coach team members. Exposure to SAP IBP is an added advantage.
  • Advanced Power BI and Advanced Excel skills for reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
