BU / Function 
Digital Data & Networks (DDN) Business Unit in TE Connectivity, where we enable high-speed connectivity solutions that power today’s and tomorrow’s data-driven world. Engineering team is responsible for development of innovative interconnect solution products which are used in hyperscale computers, AI, Datacenter, Cloud server, and other IT systems, including connectors, cable assemblies, bus bars and sockets. We engineer and manufacture cutting-edge interconnect solutions that support high-speed data transmission, signal integrity, and power efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Objective
The Manager for Product Compliance, Certification and Sustainability leads product environmental compliance, certification, sustainability and regulatory approval processes to ensure products meet legal, safety, and industry standards before entering the market. Compliance, Certification and Sustainability Teams reports to this role.

 

Key Responsibilities
•    Regulatory Compliance: Direct compliance evaluations for global and local standards (e.g., CE, UL, TUV, CSA, ISO, BIS).
•    Testing & Validation: Oversee product testing, documentation preparation, and technical file submissions.
•    Agency Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with external certification bodies, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
•    Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with engineering, R&D, and quality assurance to fix non-compliance issues early in the design phase.
•    Process Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations and update internal compliance procedures.
•    Project Management: ensure all projects are executed before or on time and without any defects. 
•    Team Management: manager compliance, certification and sustainability teams and ensure competency development and continuous improvements
•    Talent development: ensure upskilling of team members with contemporary global practices on compliance, certification and sustainability.
•    Customer Centricity: deliver solutions at customer pace and delight customers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
•    Experience: 15+ years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, quality certification and sustainability
•    Leadership: 5+ yrs progressive leadership experience in managing team, projects, partners, and customers.
•    Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of statutory requirements, safety standards, and test protocols for industrial products.
•    Communication: Strong technical writing skills for audit reports and clear communication with external testing agencies.
