Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced BI & Data Analytics Manager with a strong consulting background and exceptional business acumen to lead and grow a global analytics team within Sales Operations. This leadership role requires the ability to quickly grasp complex business contexts and tailor advanced analytics solutions that directly support sales strategy, commercial excellence, and operational efficiency. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, the manager will translate commercial priorities into data-driven insights and scalable capabilities that empower the global sales organization.

 

You will manage a diverse team of data engineers, data scientists, statisticians, and business analysts, overseeing the delivery of scalable data infrastructure, cutting-edge AI/ML models, and insightful dashboards that unify and amplify the sales organization’s data capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Analytics & Reporting

  • Champion data literacy and create actionable insights for the global sales function with a focus on sales strategy execution, commercial excellence, and operational effectiveness.
  • Design, standardize, and govern reporting frameworks, KPI definitions, and dashboards to establish a single source of truth that drives aligned decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and Business Leaders to translate commercial objectives into measurable and analytical outcomes.
  • Accelerate the adoption of modern BI platforms and data visualization best practices to foster a culture of data-informed decision-making across regions and functions.

 

Advanced Analytics & Data Science

  • Lead the development and scaling of advanced analytics capabilities including forecasting, customer segmentation, propensity and churn modeling, price optimization, and AI/ML-driven insights tailored to sales challenges.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of robust, automated data pipelines in partnership with data engineers and data scientists.
  • Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., NLP, reinforcement learning, automated machine learning) and embed them into analytics workflows to enhance impact and efficiency.
  • Translate complex analytical models and results into clear, business-impactful recommendations that influence sales strategy and operational priorities.

 

Sales Incentive Process (SIP) Ownership

  • Own the complete Sales Incentive Process lifecycle—design, execution, validation, measurement, and reporting—ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Regional Sales Operations to maintain accuracy, transparency, and communication of SIP outcomes across all levels.
  • Use analytics to continuously improve incentive plans, linking performance metrics with commercial objectives and behavioral outcomes.

 

People Leadership

  • Directly lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers, scientists, statisticians, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Build cross-functional collaboration skills within the team to deliver integrated analytics solutions supporting sales strategy and operations.
  • Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and performance goals aligned with broader business priorities.

 

Candidate Desired Profile:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in BI, data analytics, or sales operations analytics, with at least 3 years in a managerial or people leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in consulting or a similarly client-facing analytical role with a strong track record of quickly understanding business challenges and designing tailored, actionable analytics solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine technical expertise with strong business insight to drive impactful, strategically aligned outcomes.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams including data engineering, data science, and business analysis.
  • Strong proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, along with advanced SQL skills and understanding of data architecture.
  • Practical experience implementing advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning, predictive modeling, NLP, and automation within sales or commercial contexts.
  • Demonstrated success in building scalable reporting frameworks and standardizing sales KPIs across complex, multinational organizations.
  • Experience driving Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) analytics, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with compensation strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to influence senior leadership and tailor messaging to varied audiences.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and related softwares(Jenkins, lambda) for scalable data engineering and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, AWS Sagemaker for advanced analytics and model development.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and modern data stack ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and security best practices.
  • Exposure to automation and workflow orchestration tools to streamline analytics delivery.
