Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Purchase Order (PO) fulfilment cycle, from purchase requisition through Goods Receipt in the Regional Distribution Centers.
  • Work with suppliers and Global Logistics teams to address incidents or exceptions.
  • Troubleshoot, expedite and de-expedite product availability and work with cross-functional teams to meet delivery and inventory KPIs, improving customer service and experience, while optimizing logistics cost, inventory and obsolescence
  • Execute and coordinate production priority and supply allocation with Master Production Scheduling, Sales and Product Management under capacity and resource constraint.
  • Respond to unexpected event in the supply chain, report and escalate those risks to the Supply Chain Manager. Drive preventive measures after corrective measures.
  • Track and improve ship to request, ship to schedule, Inventory, freight and past-due performance.
  • Clarify short lead time and abnormal demand with Demand Management, Product Manager, Sales and Customer Service Team.
  • Perform root cause analysis, identify actions and improve delivery performance KPIs.
  • Execute Make-To-Order, Make-to-Forecast and Make-To-Stock strategies.
  • Coordinate global stock rebalancing activities.
  • Review healthy stock levels, conduct root cause analysis and back to normal actions

 

Desired Candidate

  • At least 7-10 years of experience as Production / Materials / S&OP planner or similar preferred in the Automotive / Electronics industry
  • General knowledge of Operations or Manufacturing processes
  • Good knowledge of Demand Planning, Project Management, Inventory planning, logistics & Procurement
  • In depth knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning and Material planning processes
  • Experience in any Supply Chain function is an advantage
  • Strong tool skills like SAP ECC / S4 HANA, IBP, MS Excel, Business Intelligence tools
  • Advanced Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, One Note, Planner, Word, Access, Visio)
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical & data visualization skills
