Job Overview

Logistics Analyst (AUT) will be driving Key Logistics Transformations Projects within the Automotive BU of TE Connectivity.

This role is responsible for driving key Logistics Transformation across different legs viz. Inbound, Outbound, Packaging, Warehousing and Standardization. The Logistics Analyst will need to ensure smooth and timely execution of the key transformation projects for Logistics across various regions. This role will proactively collaborate with different stake holders to drive transformation in logistics and deliver savings. The role will also be responsible for publishing monthly Logistics Scorecard. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong data analysis skills and a passion for continuous improvement and with knowledge of Supply Chain Functions ( Logistics, Planning, Warehousing etc)

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities
Packaging Transformations
    Partner with cross-functional team to identify inefficiencies associated with Packaging and work towards driving Packaging Transformation Projects.
    Support the global/regional/BU logistics team by identifying new projects for Packaging savings pipeline
    Track project plan for key initiatives to ensure on-time execution.
    Partner with regional packaging teams & Logistics team to drive Standardization.
    Drive use of returnable packaging with the regional teams
    Drive Packaging density improvement projects resulting in reduction in transportation cost.
    Support the project teams with insights from the past transactional data.
    Bring visibility into freight inefficiencies linked with Packaging by developing relevant dashboards
    Partner with Masterdata team to improve Packaging Material Master-Data Quality
    Work closely with Regional procurement team to drive VMI for packaging and reduce PM inventory in our WHs
    Identify and drive projects for Packaging which will enable warehouse space reduction 
Warehouse Transformation
    Manage logistics and warehouse improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and enhance efficiency.
    Collaborate with key regional stakeholder to execute key warehouse transformation projects.
    Partner with Warehouse and Finance team and provide analytics for Warehouse cost ( including Value Added Services)
    Drive cost savings projects identified with right stakeholder and track project plans.
    Support regional team by providing analytics on warehouse data.
    Partner with Masterdata team to improve Warehouse Master-Data Quality
    Support in implementation of Logistics Management System (LMS)
Upstream Logistics
    Collaborate with key regional team and provide key insights on trade inbound spend.
    Identify key projects which would help reduce trade inbound freight
    Drive visibility to inbound shipment tracking
    Provide Inbound freight analytics to regional team and identify opportunities
Logistics Scorecard
    Dashboards - Manage reporting/ dashboards on operational level - clean, organize, prepare data, information, & results and and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive logistics performance.
    Work towards automation on Logistics dashboard
Network Modeling
    Support in executing key network modelling projects focussing on Drop Shipment/ Direct dispatch capabilities. Work with region to address SAP, GTS and other issues to facilitate execution.
General
    Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to achieve project goals.
    Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and documentation to track progress and communicate results to senior management.
    Ensure process adherence and follow - up with ground team to provide an unparalleled delivery experience to customers/ cross functional teams

DESIRED SKILL:

Bachelor or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field from a Tier-1 college.(mandatory)
    Minimum 7-10 years direct experience in Logistics & Supply Chain e.g. Supply chain design, logistics, Warehousing, procurement or      Operations. Global exposure is a plus.
    High level understanding of supply chain concepts- Network, Transportation, Warehousing & Inventory etc.
    Prior working knowledge in Analytics using Analytic tools is a Must 
    Must have- Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
    Preferable- Power Bi, Tableau, SAP, SQL
    APICS, Lean certification, IBF or equivalent certification is a plus
    Ability to perform multiple tasks, adjust quickly in short time frame with limited direct supervision.
    Ability to create rapport with others and build a team environment
    Ability to work flexible hours if necessary 
    Can apply first principles thinking to solve problems, Self-motivated and bias for action/ ownership 
    Strong written and verbal communication , organizational , motivational and time management skills
    Excellent Facilitation skills

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
