TE Connectivity’s Channel Learning & Development team is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist with a strong instructional design foundation to support the Medical Business Unit (BU). This role will focus primarily on designing and maintaining high-quality learning content, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), self-paced learning, and instructor-led training materials, while also delivering live training sessions when needed.
The role partners closely with system experts, continuous improvement teams, customer service, sales, product management, and commercial teams within the Medical BU, with a strong emphasis on technical systems and processes (e.g., Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA). While part of the broader Channel L&D team, this position is dedicated solely to Medical BU priorities and works alongside a global team of L&D experts.

Roles & Responsibility :

Instructional Design & Content Development (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain clear, accurate, and learner-focused:
  • Work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Self-paced digital learning modules
  • Instructor-led training (ILT) materials and facilitator guides
  • Job aids, process documentation, and performance support tools
• Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to translate complex technical, system, and process requirements into practical learning experiences
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Medical BU, systems, and commercial teams to validate content accuracy and usability
• Ensure learning materials remain current through structured reviews, updates, and change management

Systems & Process Enablement

• Support training for enterprise and commercial systems such as Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, Styeline, and Epicor
• Collaborate with Systems and Continuous Improvement teams to align learning materials with evolving processes and standards
• Create scalable learning solutions that support both new hires and experienced employees

Training Delivery (Secondary Focus)

• Deliver live instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person) using approved curricula and materials when required
• Facilitate knowledge checks, observations, and basic skills assessments to support learner readiness
• Provide clear, professional feedback to learners during training sessions

Collaboration & Program Support

• Work closely with other Channel L&D team members to align on standards, priorities, and delivery approaches
• Support LMS administration tasks such as course updates, learner tracking, and certification activities
• Coordinate across time zones and regions to meet global Medical BU needs
• Protect confidential information and comply with TE data privacy standards

Desired Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, learning & development, or training roles with strong content development responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Education, Adult Learning, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated experience creating SOPs, process documentation, and structured learning content
• Experience delivering instructor-led training in addition to content development strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Salesforce; exposure to SAP strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with SMEs, system experts, and cross-functional partners
• Comfortable working a 1-10pm IST shift and adjusting hours as needed for global support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Medical, regulated, or highly technical environments
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe tools, Canva)
• Exposure to global or regional commercial teams
