Job Overview
Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise wide systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Baan, PeopleSoft) across functional areas. Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Coordinates system upgrade activity. Trains user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.
Roles & Responsibilities
- As part of our SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) team you will be responsible for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that allow TE to have high quality data of sales, manufacturing and purchasing transactions loaded into IBP
- You will design, develop, and implement database solutions using Oracle database technology to manage supply chain master and transactional data – this includes customer, vendor, product master data and sales, billings, bookings, production order, purchase order data
- You will write, optimize, and maintain complex PL-SQL and MSSQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for data manipulation, reporting, and analytics.
- You will collaborate with software engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and integrate database solutions into applications.
Desired Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of related PL-SQL and MSSQL work experience within a large manufacturing organization.
- Experience with Oracle database design, development, documentation and optimization related to supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- English language, sufficient for clear verbal and written communication within a global company.
- Professional skills:
• Quick learner and self-motivating. - Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to the established project timeframe.
- Ability to contribute to the design and architecture of the proposed solution.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Other skill sets that would be a bonus:
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) development
- Experience using or configuring supply chain applications in areas such as demand management, inventory management or supply management
