Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams support mainframe, Unix, Linux, and Windows based servers. This includes installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance and backup/recovery of physical and virtual servers. They monitor servers for performance and availability, and works with customers and vendors to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. TE’s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams analyze application requirements and recommend appropriate hardware configuration to meet requirements, install, configure, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot technical systems software such as middleware, portal, e-mail, collaboration, unified communications, systems monitoring, trouble ticketing, software distribution, etc. They also evaluate new products, upgrade features and recommend toolset selection.

Position Description:
As an SCCM Developer, you will be responsible for innovation and automation in the SCCM area with tools such as System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, etc. The ideal candidate will be a good team player and have good verbal and written communication skills and have prior experience in a similar role.

Specific Job Functions Include:
Position Qualifications/Competencies - Required
• Good knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, HTML
• 5+ years of Windows 10 Desktop engineering and troubleshooting
• 1+ years of Microsoft Server administration experience
Additional Competencies - Preferred:
• IT University degree level qualification
• 5+ years of PowerShell or VB Scripting on a daily basis
• Microsoft SCCM Certification or MCSE – Desktop / Server Infrastructure
• C#, Visual Basic
SCCM Global environment Responsibilities…. 
• SCCM Reporting
• SQL queries
• Innovation and automation in SCCM and Windows areas
• Maintenance of global admin services and tools
• End-point devices configuration and management
• Administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (50,000 Windows clients)
Skillset
• Good knowledge of PowerSHell, SQL, SSRS, AD / GPO, HTML, MS Office, IT Networking principles, SaaS/PaaS services, and advanced Windows 10 troubleshooting
• Ability to write code in VB Script, Visual Basic, C#, ASPX
• Active Directory Domain Services
• Active Directory Certificate Services
• Domain Name System (DNS)
• Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
• Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• NTFS Permissions
• Authentication and Authorization
• Knowledge of IIS
• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems: Windows 10, Server 2016, and newer
• Automation
Daily Activities
• Daily incident/request reviews (Service Now global ticketing & knowledge base)
• User support/engagement as required
• Scripting – automation, innovation projects, server, and desktop automation and maintenance
• Maintenance and development of web services, global admin tools
• Development of the corporate logon script
• System documentation up-keep (on-going)
• Attending daily meetings with the SCCM team
