This individual would be part of India regional IT support team and responsible for supporting the IT operations for the TE Offices across India. the incumbent will participate in day to day end user support operations including desktop and laptop configuration, support the telecom and network provisioning and coordinate the new implementations with global and local peers.


-    Install and configure desktops and laptops with Windows Operating system – Windows10
-    Install and configure and PSTN(Outlook) / IP phones
-    Basic troubleshooting of the Operating Systems and tools TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
-    Provide resolutions using service desk tool and take ownership of internal customer problems and be proactive when dealing with their issues
-    Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and provide assistance to end users either in the office or remotely for laptops, desktops, mobile phone, office phone, printers and peripherals, Audio & Video conferencing equipment/tools etc. 
-    Support the IT procurement and assets management activities
-    Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment, mobile phones and application software
-    Document processes, procedures, and technical resolutions (good to have skill)
-    Must have the required technical skills to identify system problems, as well as seek out ways to improve processes

Job Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring that the actions of the team members are aligned to the objectives defined for the Regional Run Team (Server, Storage, Backup and Recovery).  The team will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the environment, which is geographically dispersed in all regions (America’s, APAC and EMEA).  The leader will ensure that the team follows the globally defined standards and works with the other teams to provide global support using a follow-the-sun mentality. The leader will ensure that the team works with the lead technologists (Plan/Build Team and Architects as neded) to ensure that when new technologies and techniques are deployed that the team is prepared to support the change beginning on Day 1.  The leader will be responsible for ensuring that all spending is pre-approved and in line with the GIS budget.  The leader will complete semi-annual and annual reviews for all team members as defined by TEIS HR.

What your background should look like:

    Should be a Graduate / Post-graduate.
    Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience
    Should be flexible to work in shift based on business requirements
    Project management experience preferred 
    Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
    Should be a good team player. 
    Must be able to work with minimal supervision
    Must have excellent Analytical skills
    Strong business acumen
