Job Overview
The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers within the DACH region. The role focuses on revenue growth, demand creation, customer engagement, opportunity development, quotation management, and coordination with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service) to deliver Extraordinary Customer Experience. A strong command of the German language (B2.2/C1) is essential for customer communication, negotiation, and handling technical & commercial queries.
Job Requirements
• Responsible for handling a set of existing customers and developing new customers.
• Responsible for finding and qualifying new opportunities/pipeline from existing and new customers via remote engagement – outbound / inbound calls, emails, chats.
• Understanding customer needs/requirements both technically & commercially to effectively communicate the solution to customer.
• Making outbound calls to potential customers, and answerable to customer calls. Effectively communicating with customers via emails, chats, and virtual meetings.
• Responsible for identifying and creating quality opportunities & actively follow up to ensure it converts.
• Building rapport and achieving customer satisfaction - Effectively listening to customer queries, demonstrating empathy and make customer feel valued.
• Product information - Stay up to date with product information & updates and effectively communicate with customers such as new product launch, product change notification.
• Qualifying leads and seeking opportunities - Qualify leads, lead research, and convert them into opportunities.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism during remote / virtual interactions and follow-ups with customers.
• Sales pitch and presentations – perform virtual sales pitch and virtual presentations to customers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Proficient in German language – C1 / B2.2
• B.E / B.Tech in Engineering (EEE, ECE, Mechanical or related field) or Business degree (equivalent experience considered)
• 3+ years in technical sales or account management. However, candidates with less experience or those transitioning into sales are welcome to apply
• Exposure to industrial/technical products or solutions (manufacturing, components, engineering, automation, etc.) can be an added advantage but not mandatory
