HR Project Specialist - Talent Attraction

Job Overview

As a Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring operations and delivering projects related to Talent Attraction services according to customer/business needs.  In this role, you will ensure TE Connectivity is able effectively: attract and engage the best, diverse talent; reinforce our SET (Strategy, Execution, and Talent) principles; and drive innovation and value for our customers in all markets.  This position will be responsible for governing all recruitment processes and oversight of performance and operations in accordance with Talent Attraction’s Standard Work for the EMEA region.  Oversight of performance and operations will include monitoring of established Key Performance Indicators and Service Level/Partnership agreements for the internal and external recruiting team and content owner of all Talent Attraction documentation and resources through various SharePoint sites for the EMEA region.  Project outcomes from this role will include collaboration with the Global HR Portfolio team, Key HR and Business stakeholders, and the Talent Attraction team to drive change management for all continuous improvement efforts.   

Responsibilities:

•    Ensure processes within the area of responsibility are properly mapped, metrics assigned, monitored, defined, and prioritized/aligned with other HR programs to ensure synergy of initiatives.
•    Implement and monitor project schedule to ensure deadlines/deliverables are met.
•    Conduct business analysis assessments to drive scalability, flexibility, speed, innovation, and I&D solutions.
•    Partner with procurement to review/manage job contract documents to ensure performance expectations are met with external suppliers.
•    Provide support for the EMEA talent attraction team as it relates to invoicing and PO’s to ensure continued operations of recruitment related services in collaboration with the Talent Attraction PMO team. 
•    Evaluate external supplier performance according to contractual obligations.
•    Maintain project meeting documentation and distribution.
•    Collaborate with HR and business leads to implement enterprise-wide strategic initiatives related to recruitment, including process or system implementation
•    Use of LEAN/Six Sigma/Agile and project management methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
•    Establish a rapport with the process owners and external suppliers to ensure thorough understanding of business needs and delivering best practices. 
•    Coach, consult, and influence business leads and anticipate/mitigate risks to drive change management/advocacy.
•    Organize and facilitate process improvement Kaizen events involving all stakeholders of the process in new designs. 
•    Ensure proper Voice of Customer/Voice of the Business is gathered as part of the initiative prioritization process. 
 

Desired Candidate Profile:

•    Bachelors Degree required (preferably in Business/Finance/Human Resources); MBA preferred.
•    5+ years project management experience, global experience preferred.
•    Experience working in an RPO structure or exposure to procurement processes/systems is a plus.
•    PMP, LEAN and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
•    Advanced proficiency with MS Office 360 (i.e. PPT, Excel, TEAMS, and SharePoint).
•    Working knowledge of IT, HR, Financial, Procurement systems (i.e. SAP, Success Factors, Tableau, and CRM) preferred.  
•    Comfortable working with ambiguity in a global/matrix environment
•    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail coupled with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing deadlines.
•    Customer centricity and demonstrated success working in a cross-cultural environment.
•    Strong written and oral communication skills, additional language skills a plus.
•    Flexibility to work non-traditional hours with advance notice to support various time-zones
