Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of financial performance by collecting,

monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions.

This is a key role in supporting the Director of Finance, Global Controller’s & Operations team globally  to improve, maintain strong controls and to lead the business in overall continuous improvement activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Month end Close Procedures which includes booking of journal entries, preparation of naccount reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of data from Global Shop Solutions ERP system with SAP, which includes revenue, inventory and GR/IR.
  • Support the Finance Dir & Global Ops Controller’s in the drive of continuous improvement initiatives specifically on process documentation and review of internal controls strengths and weaknesses.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis – focused on Gross margin, Absorption, spend, inventory  & productivity
  • Assist the Controller on creating budgets and forecast for the plant and measuring actuals with forecasts.
  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internalcontrols, and apply them
  • Data affinity & ability to use excel power query (advance excel) & / or SQL query’s to overcome data boundaries & harmonize data in visual manner to derive story telling & report operations performance
  • Soft Skill requirement – open to change, learning on the job mindset, able to adapt & prioritize according to business needs & deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • SAP R/3 or other ERP System knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential. (Not limited to Pivot’s Lookups, Query)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment beneficial.
  • Experience working within a standard costing based environment beneficial
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to utilize these skills at all levels, with both internal and external customers/vendors.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, adhering to deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understands business and can apply knowledge to costing, pricing, accounts receivable, and budgeting processes.
  • Works well with all departments – encourages exchange of information.
  • Organized and completes analysis and reports on time.
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Skills: must be analytical and intuitive, self starter, strong oral and written communications skills, organization skills, effective partnering with sales and marketing.
  • Must be proficient in the English language
