Job Overview
Business partner for Commercial finance topics, works with Product Management teams on all commercial topics. Builds the topline forecast model and bridges results and analyses trends, identifies business inefficiencies and potential areas of improvement in the commercial area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead ad-hoc analytics, pro-actively identify business performance gaps as well as propose, implement, and track gap closing measures
- Works with the New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to review and advice upon changes that will improve cost and quality of new product introductions.
- Supports the PAC process and analyzes New Business opportunities financial modelling
- Protecting TE profitability by balancing Contribution Margins, Standard Margins and Plant Load (Recovery)
- Drive IND SV Strat Plan process with the major focus on Growth Tree (Market Outgrowth, Share Gain, Pricing, Impact of NPI Project as well as improvement of GM)
- Drive Committed Forecast Processes regarding the Billings and SMI by providing financial support during S&OP process involving Product Management, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations - drive the finance reconciliation step of the S&OP process
- Providing Monthly R&O and Weekly Outlook regarding to the Billings and SMI (in cooperation with PM, Sales and SC)
- Providing explanations on Billings, SMI and Mix during Month end Closing reviews
- Market analysis in order to support CF process
- Act as a Business Partner to PM Team by supporting various Business cases and financial modelling in order to support Product and customer speciffic winning strategies as well as impact of NPI Projects and supporting PM team to identify growth areas in Business - Understand product lifetime cycle and challenge PM porfolio strategy
- Annual PMIP targets & assignments calculation settings; set-up tracking and monthly PMIP accrual analysis
- PAC preparations, PAC reviews, supporting the teams on CERs and P&L improvements. Guiding and approving the CER process
- Project based: Supporting reorg changes in respect to the changes of Product Lines between BUs or SVs as well as changes of respective part numbers
- Customer contribution analysis and understanding impact of Gross to Net
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA in Finance / CA / CMA with 5+ years of relevant experience in an MNC organization
- Good understanding of Data Structure, Business Analytics and Reporting Requirements in a complicated Multi BU environment
- Critical thinker and strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly skilled with SAP, Excel, Access & PowerPoint. Knowledge of Hyperion, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, SQL is desirable.
