Job Overview
The Successful candidate has a passion for data management and sustainability. She/he will support the deployment of the sustainability strategy and help to implement Life cycle Product (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) automation programs, reporting tools to improve circularity within the organization. She/He coordinate project to support the development and execution of data-driven strategy across all pillars of TE Industrial Business Unit Sustainability team (Social, Environmental, and Reporting). The candidate should have a great understanding of Environmental metrics, Global Supply chain tools and background product data, master level of BO, Supplier portal. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining reporting excellency, including building tools and processes for data collection and management, performing data analysis, and visualizing data for internal and external reporting for TE Industrial Business Unit. This role will report directly to the IND BU Head of Sustainability.
Responsibilities
1. Manage Sustainability data sets, including Key Performance Indicators, baselines, targets, etc. to drive improvement programs around Sustainability topics, such as but not limited to, climate change, energy efficiency, waste, water resources, transportation, Product life cycle, into TE Industrial Business Unit.
2. Proficient with PowerBI:Tableau – must have the Excellent visualization skills with data analysis in Power Query
3. Develop reporting tools in collaboration with relevant TE Business functions to facilitate the integration of Sustainability data into business reporting, data systems by which leadership may assess performance
4. Support in creating platforms to help communicate information to TE organisation and business partners by modelling qualitative and quantitative environmental, social, reporting related data reflective of current and future materials, products, or emission footprints
5. Translate complex reporting/data requirements into effective business solutions
6. Support to develop automated reporting process to generate accurate TEBIT volume related savings through forecast, open POs
7. Ensure iterative design processes are followed, providing regular feedback and engagement to the business
8. Serve internal customers with reports regarding compliance metrics
9. Present to executive leadership summaries on open issues and projects including action plans and timelines for completion
10. Maintain monthly/weekly reports accuracy
11. Develop new dashboards for all KPIs on plant level and help to maintain web-based tools for team members, including supplier-facing tools
12. Conduct data analysis including performance analysis, risk assessments, strategy KPI analysis, facility environmental impact analysis, and deep dive to provide root cause of issues
13. Other reporting and tracking project on demand
Required SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental data science, computer science or Business Administration or equivalent
Tech-savvy candidate with preferably previous experience of 5+yr in Environmental data science or computer science or Data analysis & management in procurement or other relevant function
PowerBI, SQL, Data designing and modelling any tool
Expert level with Excel
Master level of PowerBI, Business Objects and/or Access
Excellent project management, problem-solving skills, data analytical and financial skills, and communication skills
Ability to analyze, organize, and integrate large amounts of complex data into clear and concise reports
Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude
