Job Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist – AEM & Web Platforms is a cross-functional expert who is a key contributor to the execution and optimization of our digital content ecosystem. This role is responsible for building, managing, and enhancing our digital marketing ecosystem through Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), driving high-impact content delivery, and supporting multi-channel marketing initiatives. This individual will enhance our business partners' digital marketing efforts by striking a balance between day-to-day operations and a consultative, strategic approach. The ideal candidate will be adept at aligning digital content with business goals, optimizing performance, and ensuring a consistent brand experience across the web and other digital marketing channels. This role requires exceptional communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, global, multi-cultural business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
AEM Content Management:
• Own end-to-end execution of content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including page builds, updates, asset management, metadata, and tagging to support business unit campaigns and product marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to deliver high-quality web experiences that support campaigns and product marketing objectives. and to ensure consistent and compelling content deployment across multiple platforms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement improvements in content structure and publishing workflows, update and maintain web content, ensuring alignment with business goals and marketing strategies.
• Ensure all digital content aligns with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, SEO practices, and UX principles.
• Support the use of AEM features such as Experience Fragments and content personalization as needed.
Support for Social Media & Digital Channel Execution
• Collaborate with social media and digital channel owners to implement content and campaigns across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
• Contributes to the development of content calendars, campaign assets, and basic publishing tasks when needed.
• Stay informed on social media best practices and emerging trends to support ongoing content innovation.
• Assist with content readiness, reviews, and coordination among stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Collaboration with Project Management & Cross-Functional Teams
• Work closely with dedicated project managers to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables for digital marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate inputs from marketing, creative, and technical stakeholders to support timely and accurate content execution.
• Monitor task progress and communicate status updates clearly to project leads and stakeholders.
• Escalate risks or blockers as needed to ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards.
Support for Analytics, Optimization & Reporting
• Partner with analytics and digital teams to understand campaign performance, content engagement, and key KPIs.
• Assist in gathering and interpreting performance data to inform optimization efforts.
• Contribute to A/B testing initiatives, personalization efforts, and recommendations for content and user experience enhancements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 preferred) in a content authoring capacity, including familiarity with components, templates, and workflows.
- Proven experience managing digital platforms and operations at scale.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and tools, including social media and campaign execution and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics and ability to interpret data to drive insights and improvements.
- Understanding of SEO and accessibility standards for digital content.
- Exposure to marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, and Pardot) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of HTML/CSS is beneficial but not required.
- Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer (or equivalent certification) is a plus.
