Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Business Development Teams identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. They identify markets and determine the feasibility of business and product development. Our Teams perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities, develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


·Masters in Statistics / Mathematics/ Computer Science or related fields.

·Programming and analytical experience in major analytics software packages, Azure ML is big plus.

·Create Predictive & Prescriptive Models using Multivariate Analysis, Time Series analysis, Bayesian methods, Linear and Logistic Regression, Lasso, Ensemble, Classification, Kernel Methods, etc in the field of Sales & Operation, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Digital Factory.

·Apply Mathematical programming methods such as Linear and Non-linear Optimization to minimize cost and increase profitability in various business processes

·Applying Modern Machine Learning methods such as Neural Networks, Support Vector Machine, Anomaly Detection, Random Forests, Swarm Methods, etc to deliver better business insights.

·Proficiency dealing with extraction and manipulation of relational databases (SQL)

·Knowledge of Big Data technologies and basic understanding of Hadoop and map-reduce framework.

·Working with large dataset to identify hidden patterns and proactively providing insights to the top management.

·Determine the right graphs / charts to use based on the type of data and create visually smart dashboards that convey key insights in a concise and non-cluttered manner using tools like Tableau or Power BI.

·Understanding of Global Automotive Industry and the impact of various factors (price, GDP, metal availability, etc) on TE’s Business.

·Working directly with end users to ensure results meet their requirements.

·Excellent communication, interpersonal, convincing, analytical and problem solving skills.

·Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner at all levels.

·Ability to influence others and gain support from stakeholders. Strong collaborator and team player.
