Job Overview
Responsibilities
• Data Validation and Cleansing:
o Conduct regular data audits to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies.
o Cleanse and de-duplicate data to maintain high levels of data quality.
o Develop and implement data validation processes and tools.
• Data Quality Monitoring:
o Monitor data quality metrics and report on data quality trends.
o Implement data quality monitoring solutions to track data accuracy over time.
o Identify and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.
• Data Governance:
o Collaborate with data stewards and business units to establish data quality standards.
o Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
o Document data quality issues and actions taken to resolve them.
• Data Quality Improvement:
o Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives.
o Work with IT and business teams to design and implement data quality solutions.
o Provide recommendations for improving data quality and integrity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Liaise with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
o Facilitate data quality discussions and workshops with cross-functional teams.
o Provide training and support on data quality best practices
Desired Candidate Profile
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering streams, with work experience in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
o Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
o 3-6 years of experience in a data quality, data management, or data analysis role.
o Experience with data quality tools and software (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SQL Server Data Quality Services).
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
o Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
o Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is desirable.
• Certification in data quality or data management (e.g., CDMP, IQCP) is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
