BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

 

 

Role Objective:

 

The Senior Graphic Designer will be part of the Internal Creative Services team, supporting TE Connectivity’s global business units and corporate functions. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, brand-aligned creative solutions that effectively communicate complex technical and business concepts across multiple channels.

This position requires a highly collaborative and detail-oriented design professional with strong expertise across print, digital, video, and environmental design, including trade shows and events. The role also acts as a key creative partner, influencing stakeholders and elevating the overall quality of visual communications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a creative lead on complex projects, owning the end-to-end design lifecycle from concept through execution and delivery
  • Translate business objectives and technical content into strategic, insight-driven creative solutions, not just executional outputs
  • Develop integrated design systems and visual frameworks that scale across regions, channels, and business units
  • Lead the design and execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital, print, motion, and experiential touchpoints
  • Drive trade show and event design strategy, including booth storytelling, spatial experience, visitor flow, and engagement assets
  • Establish and maintain high standards of craft, ensuring pixel-perfect execution across formats (print, digital, large-scale, motion)
  • Provide art direction and mentorship to junior designers, offering constructive feedback and elevating overall team output
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to interrogate briefs, challenge assumptions, and proactively shape better creative outcomes
  • Ensure brand governance at scale, acting as a gatekeeper while evolving visual language where appropriate
  • Oversee vendor interactions and production processes, including print vendors, fabricators, and external agencies
  • Optimize workflows by introducing efficient design processes, templates, and reusable assets
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring in innovation across formats, tools, and storytelling approaches

 

Education / Knowledge

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field

 

Competencies & Experience Required/Desired

 

  • Minimum 5 years of professional design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Strong experience in video editing and motion graphics
  • Solid understanding of print production processes, materials, and specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to design across multiple formats and mediums, including large-scale graphics
  • Experience designing for trade shows, exhibitions, or environmental applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and execution
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with brand governance and digital asset management systems
  • Exposure to UI/UX or digital product design

 

Software Knowledge

 

Design and Creative Tools:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
    (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Familiarity with Cinema 4D or similar tools for basic 3D and spatial visualisation (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (high-end presentation design and storytelling)

 

Motion and Video:

  • Expertise in motion graphics, animation, and video editing
  • Understanding of storyboarding, transitions, pacing, and sound design fundamentals
  • Ability to create short-form and long-form video content for internal communications and campaigns

 

Print, Production and Environmental Design:

  • Deep understanding of print production, colour management, typography, and materials
  • Experience in large-format and environmental graphics, including booths, signage, and installations
  • Knowledge of pre-press workflows, file preparation, and vendor specifications
