Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Corporate Strategy Teams develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for our corporation by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability. They support the creation and implementation of business plans, strategy, and initiatives to meet customer's and business needs.

This position will be part of Data and Devices (DND) Team. Data and Devices (DND) is a business unit and growth driver of TE with two major focus areas: Cloud and IoT/Edge. In Cloud we work directly together with all major Cloud companies as well as Enterprise customers to develop next-generation products powering existing infrastructure and the fast-growing architectures that will power training and inference workloads for the AI revolution. In IoT/Edge we serve Antenna OEMs and the broader market to build platforms to serve all power, data and RF connectivity of our end markets with a focus on the fast-growing Internet of Things (IoT) market


The role will be a mix of ongoing day-to-day support of DND business leaders and project-based strategy initiatives.

  • Prepare TE’s “Strategy Week” – Work together with DND leaders and the rest of the strategy team to prepare for our annual Strategy Week and help set DND’s 5-year strategy.
  • Prioritize Activities – Set frameworks to define, prioritize, and execute on activities that help DND achieve its strategy and work together with functional leaders to see it implemented.
  • Dive Into Data – Help Sales review how they use customer data, co-develop innovative new approaches to data access and use cases, and help train power-users to drive utilization. 
  • Scout For Trends – Gather first- and second-hand information on technology and industry trends, discuss with our System Architects, and synthesize what it means for DND.
  • Shape Our Portfolio – Support our M&A activities from developing market insights, engaging targets, supporting the deal closure, and seeing through the integration efforts.
  • Develop Talent – Develop a training for our Product Managers how they can implement more strategic thinking and frameworks into their work routine and share your best-practices.
  • Build Our Community – Organize virtual team fun events and experience-share sessions together with our Communications Segment colleagues to help us grow as a community.
