The Customer Service Team will be supporting all transactional tasks of the TE Order-to-Cash Process playing a key role in the whole business success. The team will support the whole North America Customer Service Organization in the background. Under general supervision, the Associate is responsible for handling accurately all defined transactional tasks which are handled in the Customer Service Team. In addition, the Associate needs to support a variety of ad hoc requests to support the business in the best possible way and as required. Furthermore, the Associate is highly responsible for delivering all given tasks of 100% quality.
Job Requirements
- Communicate effectively with international internal customers in English.
- Perform manual order entry, changes, and scheduling agreement updates.
- Handle quote entries and process credits, debits, pro forma invoices, and returns.
- Manage customer portals and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles.
- Monitor and assign tasks from the Customer Service mailbox
- Respond to ad hoc requests to support North America Customer Service Teams.
- Gain understanding of other transactional tasks served by the team.
- Ensure consistent use of Standard Work Instructions and Customer Profiles for every transaction
- Promptly pick new orders/requests from group mailbox to support process efficiency.
- Ensure high quality and on-time delivery of all tasks.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn new tasks as per evolving business needs.
- Ensure constant usage of Leader Standard Work.
- Actively participate in daily Performance Improvement Meetings (PIM).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Green Belt, Lean)
Skills
- Graduation in any stream.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a Customer Service environment, specifically in the Order Management domain.
- Hands-on experience with SAP is preferred.
- Proficient in Outlook, SAP, MS Office (Excel, Access), SFDC and Web Portals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Performance-oriented and quality-focused
