Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Procurement Business Process Teams develop and deploy procurement processes, systems, reporting and audits compliance. They drive continuous improvement throughout the procurement function, develop and maintain procurement systems, tools and databases such as vendor master files, e-procurement quotation tool, procurement web page, supplier portal, SharePoint and the like. They conduct regular external benchmarking to stay abreast of procurement best practices, run procurement reports and perform analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats and needed course correction as well as lead facilitation of procurement training and development.

You will be and expert at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. You must possess good communication and project management skills, is customer obsessed and able to communicate complex business insights; both verbally and in writing; in a clear and precise manner. He/she must have the effective communication style to drive the business result.

Major Responsibilities-

Complete the technical development of B.I initiatives, ensuring constant communication and partnership with the BI Initiative Owner.

• Translate complex requirements into effective business solutions.
• Be an active member of the internal and external B.I communities to ensure continuous personal learning and knowledge sharing with other members of the team.
• Ensuring iterative design processes are followed, providing regular feedback and engagement to the business.
• Actively participating in feedback to other analysts with respect to the development of new initiatives.

Core Responsibilities And Key Performance Areas

• Total 4-6 years of intensive hands on different ETL tools and platforms
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Deep experience in Data Modelling and Data Designing
• Excellent knowledge on Data Analysis and Database Testing
• Excellent Database skills with writing complex SQL queries
• Proficient with PowerBI – must have the Excellent visualization skills with data manipulation skill in power query
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Innovation - Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• As mentioned above – Very good functional business-oriented mindset as for this role the level of interactions with business users and key users.

• Critical thinking skills
• Identifying, developing and executing data analysis to help teams create more business impact.
• Presenting written recommendations and insights to key stakeholders.
• Shaping and informing key metrics and indicators by which leadership will assess its performance.
