Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Marketing Data & Insights teams provide deep data (internal and external sources) and analytics capabilities in support of all marketing activities including expertise in data methodologies, systems and tools, delivering insights to online and offline activities by harvesting and utilizing online and offline metrics and customer behavior patterns. They translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable initiatives that drive engagement and deepen relationships and manage creation and distribution of dashboards to monitor company and department goals and key KPI’s and identify areas for growth and improvement, implement customer feedback mechanisms to capture voice of customer, and communicate findings and best practices to relevant stakeholders. They manage analysis, performance, placement and effectiveness of external marketing efforts including paid search, email, display, and new media. They have experience with Adobe suite of digital analytics tools, Eloqua, Salesforce.com, SEO, SEM, digital acquisition, and e-commerce, product marketing CRM processes, sales automation, lead generation and management.

Job Description

The marketing data analyst will support marketing strategies and execution in alignment with business unit goals. They are responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data that has been collected for various marketing activities including product launches, email and advertising campaigns, web page performance and sales and marketing automation. They will work closely with other team members in the development and design of campaigns to ensure accurate tracking and reporting capabilities.


•    Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define key performance indicators based on those objectives, and provide relevant data, including analysis and insights.
•    Regularly assemble data from various disparate sources (from multiple analytics suites, platform portals, etc) into consolidated reports & dashboards. Develop methodologies for aggregating results from various programs and campaigns.
•    Design & deliver regular scheduled and ad hoc reports on the performance of all marketing campaigns and content in a clear format for a variety of audiences to help stakeholders determine what is working well and what areas need improvement. Ensure reports are timely and user-friendly, and inclusive of key insights and actionable recommendations to optimize performance
•    Effectively communicate and ‘translate’ quantitative findings (storytelling with data), make and defend meaningful conclusions and recommendations to inform product and editorial decisions, identify and interpret trends and relationships to product and business stakeholders.
•    Campaign Planning and Analysis – work with marketing teams, agencies, cross functional stakeholders to set campaign objectives and ensure tagging and tools are in place for proper measurement. Conduct real-time campaign analysis when required and deliver post campaign wrap report.
•    Ensure reporting is consistent, accurate and actionable.
•    Develop/document (collaborating with team) data solutions design for tracking needs across all digital platforms, new features or platform launches
•    Identify gaps in the overall data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
•    Work simultaneously on multiple projects in support of multiple business units / regions


•   Experience as a data analyst (or similar role)
•    Experience with SalesForce.com, Alteryx, ETL toos and Adobe Site Catalyst and other digital marketing tools a plus.
•    Experience with Tableau is good.
•    Ability to influence internal business partners with whom no direct reporting relationship exists
•    Excellent relationship management, presentation and communications skills that establish trust, credibility and respect
•    Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
