Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Working with cross-functional colleagues throughout the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) to agree on the numbers to be published for next months.
  • Monitoring the demand plan to actual performance monthly, which includes demand and billings versus projection and forecast accuracy to provide detailed input to cross functional teams.
  • Actively managing demand forecast by region for assigned products adjusting per latest market trends and based on the feedback from our cross-functional colleagues. Use all available tools to assure proper communication to colleagues (JDA, Xelus, SAP, Email, etc.).
  • Maintenance of MRP groups for assigned products aligning to MRP policy and/or latest demand trends adjusting safety stock levels accordingly.
  • Interface with the Supply, Master Scheduling and planning teams on demand issues and process interaction.
  • Preparation of demand management materials for monthly MBR or PLP review meetings.
  • Assisting in collaboration with Customer Supply Chain to continuously improve customer direct forecasts and delivery metrics.
  • Providing support when data is required for all projects in general (insources, migrations, new product launches, PFO analysis, etc.).
  • Consistent attendance, understanding and compliance with all TE policies, rules and regulations.

What your background should look like:

Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain
Educational degree: Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Special Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills: 

  • Demand Management, Master Production Scheduling, or Supply Chain Concepts understanding.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Package. Albo Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Strong business analytic and data management skills.
  • Knowledge of MRP and S&OP processes would be preferred. 
  • Fluency in both English and Polish.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Experience in working in the global team.
  • Experience with forecasting/analytical tools such as, JDA, Xelus, Kinaxis or SAP would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Power BI would be a plus.
