Your main tasks:

  • Develop and implement a plant-level sourcing strategy, including “make or buy” analysis and supplier segmentation (grow/fix/exit).
  • Lead the achievement of procurement KPIs, including cost savings (CMP), delivery performance (STR/STC), and quality metrics (DLPM).
  • Manage commercial agreements with suppliers (e.g. inventory management, bailment, VMI, EDI, consignment).
  • Conduct RFQs using e-tools, award new business, and negotiate pricing for raw materials, components, and tooling.
  • Optimize the supplier footprint by onboarding strategic suppliers, consolidating sources, and managing resourcing projects.
  • Monitor supplier capacity and capability to prevent supply constraints and ensure business continuity.
  • Drive continuous improvement through quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and corrective action plans with key suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with TE standards including RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals, and use of the supplier portal.
  • Support plant operations by aligning sourcing strategies with NPI projects, quality audits, certifications, and insourcing initiatives.

 

Your ideal background:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, including strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Knowledge of relevant commodities (injection molding) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English and Polish at a professional/negotiation level.
