Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and facilitates the ongoing LEAN improvement process using continuous improvement tools such as Kaizen, 5’S, TPM, Material Flow, Standard Work, Cell Design in alignment with Company Continuous Improvement Program
  • Identify ongoing LEAN improvement resource needs and assist with developing and implementing the required training
  • Establish a culture of waste elimination and define the impact on Key Performance Indicators
  • Support the value stream mapping/ transformation cycle including CI plans
  • Promotes good practices and achievements to the wider Company
What your kkkkkshould look like:
  • Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.
  • Full working knowledge of LEAN Concepts with demonstrated experience
  • Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Good understanding of SAP or similar enterprise system
  • Experience of the use of Data tools like Power BI and MiniTab
  • Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum of 5 years manufacturing continuous improvement experience preferred
