Job Overview

The AQE Standardization Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the standardization and continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and best practices within the Advanced Quality Engineering function cross sub verticals at Industrial BU. This position is responsible for establishing and managing the AQE process to drive excellence, consistency, and innovation in AQE activities. The Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor AQE standards, tools, and processes, contributing to the enhancement of product quality, customer satisfaction, and overall business success.

Responsibilities:

Center of Excellence:

  • Develop and support an AQE Center of Excellence for NPD best practices and knowledge sharing.

Standardization of AQE Processes:

  • Define and document standardized AQE processes.
  • Implement prevention programs for zero-defect product launches.
  • Establish tools and methods for robust NPD from requirements to lessons learned.
  • Develop quality control methods for compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the NPD process using LEANPD methodology.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement AQE process improvements and innovations.

Training and Development:

  • Create and deliver training programs for AQE and cross-functional teams on NPD tools and methods.

NPD Assessments and Audits:

  • Develop and maintain audit and assessment programs for NPD projects.
  • Conduct audits, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.

Quality Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish and track quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide regular performance reports and analysis to management.

Critical Projects and Problem Solving:

  • Support critical projects with expertise and training.
  • Lead root cause analysis and develop action plans.
  • Escalate quality issues and integrate lessons learned into NPD tools.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Align AQE processes with product development and manufacturing.
  • Promote process standardization and open communication for knowledge sharing.

Industry Trends and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to strategies for manufacturing quality, cost reduction, and process standardization.

What your background should look like:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Specialized and profound knowledge in electronics, physics, mechanics, metal and plastics
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Automotive Core Tools APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP and other risk analysis standards)
  • Strong knowledge of quality management standards as VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, ISO 9001
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams
  • Strong ability to take decisions
  • Good English knowledge, verbal and in writing (also for presenting) 
  • Green Belt / Black Belt (good to have)
