Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. And effectively involved in the transformation projects targeted towards making the existing tools and processes more efficient. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures
Roles & Responsibility :
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support Indirect Procurement operations through Vendor Master Data Governance, procurement process support, process automation initiatives, and SAP S/4HANA transformation activities. The role will act as a key point of contact for MDG Vendor Master Data inquiries, provide guidance on indirect procurement policies and processes, identify opportunities for automation, and support testing and training activities related to system and process enhancements.
Vendor Master Data Governance:
•Manage and support MDG Vendor Master Data requests and inquiries and escalations for indirect procurement activities.
•Ensure vendor master records are created, maintained, and updated in compliance with data governance standards.
•Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and business stakeholders to resolve vendor data issues.
•Monitor data quality and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance master data accuracy and efficiency.
Indirect Procurement Process Support:
•Serve as a subject matter expert for indirect procurement processes, policies, and systems.
•Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement procedures, sourcing channels, purchasing workflows, and compliance requirements.
•Drive adherence to procurement policies and internal controls.
Process Improvement & Automation:
•Identify opportunities to streamline and automate procurement and master data processes through RPA and digital solutions.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop business cases for automation initiatives.
•Support implementation, testing, and deployment of automation solutions.
•Measure and report process efficiency gains and automation benefits.
SAP S/4HANA Transformation Support:
•Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects impacting indirect procurement and vendor master data processes.
•Support business process design, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
•Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and regression test scenarios.
•Assist with defect resolution, process documentation, and business readiness activities.
Training & Knowledge Management:
•Develop training materials, work instructions, and process documentation for procurement and master data processes.
•Conduct training sessions for end users and new team members.
•Provide post-go-live support for system enhancements and transformation initiatives.
•Promote best practices and continuous learning within the procurement organization.
Desired Candidate profile:
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
•5 Plus years Experience in Procurement, Vendor Master Data Management, or Procurement Operations.
•Knowledge of SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, or related procurement systems.
•Experience supporting testing, training, and change management activities.
•Exposure to RPA tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere is preferred.
•Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Competencies:
•Indirect Procurement process knowledge.
•SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
•Strong problem-solving and project coordination capabilities.
•Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
•Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint
