Job Overview

The role is for an Administrative Apprentice I in the purchasing area, specifically to assist with operational and routine tasks related to vendor master data management. The position is open to support the team responsible for managing supplier records across four countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. The apprentice will help with cleaning up outdated supplier files, contacting suppliers to request documentation, and entering data into the system. This role is intended to provide support for a specific task and is a first experience opportunity

Job Requirements

  • The role supports the business objective of cleaning and updating the vendor master records for suppliers across four countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
  • Success in this role will enable improved accuracy and completeness of supplier documentation and records, facilitating better vendor management.
  • The role addresses the challenge of managing outdated and incomplete supplier files, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct a thorough review and cleanup of supplier master files to identify missing or incorrect documentation.
  • Contact suppliers across Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru to request and collect required documentation.
  • Enter and update supplier information accurately into the system to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Perform routine and operational administrative tasks to support the purchasing department.

What your background should look like

  • Core Skills / Expertise: Administrative tasks, communication skills for supplier contact, basic understanding of supplier documentation and tax registration
  • Preferred Backgrounds: Students in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields
  • Education / Certifications (if mentioned): University students preferably with 2 or more years completed
  • Responsible individual capable of managing supplier communications.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers.
  • Reliable and able to handle routine administrative tasks.
  • Suitable for a first professional experience to learn and grow in the role.
