Auditor Supplier Quality and Development

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

What your background should look like:

TE is looking for a Supplier Auditor to join our Supplier Quality team in the Automotive Business Unit in EMEA. The Supplier Auditor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality controls in all activities, procedures, inspections, audits, reports, and documentation. Interface with clients and suppliers as well as internal departments with respect to quality activities.
Planning, preparation, follow-up and execution of external audits at suppliers in EMEA and other countries.

Analysis of audit results; preparation of the audit report; communication of deviations and follow-up of processing. Ensuring the sustainability of measures
Collaboration with various internal departments, including purchasing, planning, project management and development, as well as the quality managers of the production sites.
Moderation of quality methods (e.g. FMEA)
Leading workshops and projects
Participation in the further development of company-wide audit methods
Participation in the systematic further development of the quality assurance system


Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical / electrical engineering or comparable degree or technician mechanical / electrical engineering or comparable degree .
Minimum three years of experience in quality assurance or control as a lead or senior level (supplier) auditor.
Deep knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards together with related other automotive standards (Core Tools, VDA, CQI, …)
Certified process auditor according to VDA 6.3
Capable of determining the effectivity and acceptability of planned and implemented actions 
Working knowledge of the principles and practices of manufacturing systems, especially Molding, Stamping Assembly and Plating
Very good skills in coordination of changing operational and strategic tasks with different levels of management at the supplier and internally.
Negotiation skills and assertiveness
Willingness to travel in EMEA and outside (70 to 80%) 
Very good skills in English, additional languages are welcome.
Working knowledge of MS Office, Sharepoint, SAP
