Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

As a Production Operator III , you will carry out equipment changeovers and set-ups in line with the production schedule. You’ll perform quality checks in accordance with established procedures and accurately record the results as required by our quality standards. Maintaining a clean and organised work area using 5S practices, while following TE Connectivity’s Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures, is an essential part of this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Select the correct materials using company documentation.

  • Ensure materials are delivered to operational areas in a timely manner.

  • Operate machinery to prepare and complete products efficiently.

  • Accurately complete paperwork in line with system requirements.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and output while working to tight deadlines.

  • Keep the work area tidy and organised in accordance with 5S principles.

Further Responsibilities:

  • Notify supervisors or the purchasing team of any material shortages.

  • Maintain production plans in line with customer demand and despatch deadlines.

  • Actively participate in daily team meetings to review workload and priorities.

  • Communicate operational updates effectively to relevant departments.

  • Show flexibility by supporting other departments within the production process as required.
