Job Overview:
We’re looking for an Accounting Support IV to provide high‑quality financial and transactional support for the EMI business. This role prepares routine reports, verifies data accuracy, resolves inquiries with vendors and internal partners, and maintains compliant documentation, helping deliver an accurate and timely month‑end close.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with EMIA FSC to support legal entity activities verify inputs for R2R, OTC and S2P workstreams; approve workflows, reconcile data between ERP systems and subledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal departments; research issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely, customer‑focused manner.
- Support upgrade of ERP financial module and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports generated through ERP systems.
- Prepare and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
- Complete routine reporting packages for business partners, investigating variances and providing commentary.
- Balance sheet and general ledger review and analysis associated with business area(s).
- Assist with the internal and external audit processes.
- Support inventory stock takes and related reporting.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to simplify processes, improve data quality, and reduce cycle time while maintaining compliance.
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience in general accounting support (shared services, corporate accounting, or similar).
- Education in Accounting/Finance (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor’s) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Excel and Office tools (data entry, lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and documentation skills; ability to handle sensitive data confidentially.
- Effective written and verbal communication; customer service mindset when partnering with vendors and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting month‑end close and GL reconciliations in a multi‑entity or multi‑currency environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP/financial systems (e.g., Emax, SAP; Other ERP acceptable).
- Familiarity with SOX/internal controls, audit requests, and standard accounting policies.
- Exposure to AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
