Key tasks of the job:
• Drive and follow the creation of a consistent Go to Market Plan for each country of the LAM region. Follow execution in a monthly cadence basis.
• Create a regular process to replicate success business stories in one country to the other LAM countries.
• Make sure the Sales teams have a standard work process. Establish, when necessary, the process in TE countries (Key Account Management, Demand creation/field trial/product approvals, Organization of std Technical Seminars for demand creation, etc)
• Regular travelling to all countries for the GTM reviews, customer visits, focus on Market Share Gains, New Customers.
• Responsible to communicate in advance to the Sales Director, Product Managers and Engineering teams, major trends in terms of changes in product technologies related to TE portfolio, acquisition processes by the customers (Power Distribution Utilities, Contractors, OEM’s, etc)
• Support Price Strategy- understanding local levels of competition. Be the liaison between Sales, PM, and Pricing Dept.
• Focus on the end customer satisfaction. As the definition in TE’s ECE- Excellent Customer Experience.
• Monitor and work continuously with the Sales teams (managers and RAM” s) on the pipeline.
• Monthly Review of Major Opportunities per country.
• Regular cadence with the Marketing team to support each LAM country needs for trade shows, catalogues, gifts, etc.
Required qualifications:
- Degree: Strong Desire for an Electrical Engineer, if possible complemented by a degree in Administration or MBA focused program.
- Management Experience: Minimum 8 years at PM or Sales Teams.
- Product and Electrical Industry experience.
- A firm understanding of marketing, sales, and customer service principles.
- Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet (social media, internet databases and research tools).
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills with a metrics and results driven approach.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Hard-worker with a drive for results who can persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity; trustworthy
- Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
- Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel
- Foreign Language: Fluency in Spanish (Native) and English is a must (Speaking, Reading & Writing). Portuguese desired
- Skills: Strong intercommunication skills both to external customers but also internally. This professional must be able to communicate clearly the customers needs to our internal organization, as well as to communicate to customers.Communication “up” to senior levels in organization as well. Strong Technical background on the field of Electrical Products, able to provide technical and commercial presentations as well as to present to the upper management constant clear & concise Market Updates of his territory of responsibility.
