Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Overview

Our Swiss manufacturing and development site in Bevaix is IATF 16949 certified; it employs 70 people and is wholly recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in digital pressure sensor systems. Only weighing a few grams, our products are designed to be implemented in diverse applications in the automotive, consumer and industrial markets.

In this position, you will be leading the digital architecture for ASIC development. You will be responsible to manage the digital design activities and resources. This position can be based in Home-Office up to 80%.



  • Working on the ASIC architecture for different products lines
  • Driving and supervising the digital design activities
  • Close collaboration with the product development team to define the ASIC architecture
  • Set up the workflow define the deliverables for digital design
  • Exploration of the limits of the current system design to open new opportunities
  • Benchmarking of competitors solutions
  • Contact with suppliers and workshops, ensuring follow-up of offers, orders and subcontracted work
  • Product & process development and improvements



  • Definition, development and management of digital design activity
  • Participation in ASIC project definition and planning
  • Management of the digital design resources and interfacing with external partners 
  • Management of Digital IP portfolio and strategy
  • Participation in the definition of the IC roadmap and review with management team

What your background should look like:

  • Master’s degree in Electronics and Microelectronic or equivalent degree
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in digital IC Design, including technical leadership on digital IC design
  • VHDL/Verilog coding skills
  • Knowledgeable about the architecture of SoC or digital part
  • Digital Verification & FPGA validation experience
  • Knowledge of Signal processing or DSP
  • Capacity to work independently, to respect deadlines and to handle several projects simultaneously 
  • Always looking to improve and try new ideas
  • Organized, accurate and structured way of working with focus on quality
  • Energizing and result-oriented
  • Open minded and intercultural awareness
  • Fluent in English; French language skills would be beneficial
