Quality Technician (m/f/d)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Manage incoming inspection plan and manage claims to supplier in case of non conformities. Follow-up of supplier claim responses. Issue DLPM monthly report.
  • Analysis and follow-up of internal scrap. Investigate root cause and report investigation results (Pareto)
  • Support activities on new product validation in production (Cpk and MSA study)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality and in production. (Participate to P-FMEA update)
  • Analyze on regular basis, trend of end of line test results and feedback if abnormal trend is seen.
  • Perform first and/or second level analysis on customer return to find failure root cause.
  • Responsible for customer return immediate containment in production. Manage quality alert issuance and application in production.
  • Effective cooperation with Customer Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer in resolving Customers and internal Quality issues.
  • Part to LPA audit team.
  • Escalate issues to management when needed
  • Regular review of plant quality blocked stock, inform on status and engage actions to reduce the amount of parts blocked.
  • Ensure correct temporary deviations management in production
  • Problem solving
  • COPQ follow-up and improvement activities
  • Support periodical validation test

 

 

What your background should look like:

  • Technician in electronics, micro-electronics, mechanics or relevant technical required field
  • 3 years of experience minimum as quality technician
  • Most preferred in electronics industry
  • Experience in clean room environnement is a plus
  • PC skills (Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office)                            
  • Knowledge of quality principles and tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D report,...)                            
  • Knowledge of quality std : ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is a plus              
  • Fluent in French and English
