Senior Program Manager, Inclusion & Diversity

Job Overview

As a member of the Global Talent Management team, this position will be responsible for TE’s inclusion & diversity initiatives. A key to success is the ability to take complex I&D practices and translate them to easy to use tools, templates and measurements so that they are easily consumable by executives and the organization as a whole.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play critical role in the implementation of the Inclusion and Diversity strategy 
  • Partner with the businesses on their inclusion and diversity efforts 
  • Serve as key member and advisor to TE’s Engagement & Inclusion Network, and provide support to the Network with both internal and external insights as it relates to Network initiatives.
  • Partner closely with ERGs to design and deliver key events like I&D Week, International Women’s Day, Black History Month, etc.  
  • Leverage ERGs to drive business and talent development initiatives; assess industry practices of ERGs and how they are evolving and bring that thought leadership internal to TE.
  • Drive alignment of inclusion and diversity initiatives with HR strategies/policies/programs (e.g., talent acquisition, talent management).
  • Partner with Corporate Responsibility function and be a connection to local communities and sustainability initiatives, 
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to support internal and external E&I communications.
  • Identify and manage relationships with external partnerships and key diversity organizations on behalf of TE and assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against relevant comparable companies, industries and markets
  • Represent TE at conferences, industry events, etc. to promote TE as diversity employer of choice.
  • Manage inclusion training programs and curriculum in partnership with the businesses. Manage training vendors
What your background should look like:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience within a global, high-growth organization. Demonstrated track record of success in developing diversity & inclusion global programs and events. 
  • Diverse HR and Talent Management experience a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or similar field
  • Experience in a large, complex global organization 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an inquisitive disposition 
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, working independently and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.  
  • Solid project management skills, including a proven track record of leading large, complex projects. Experience multi-tasking in a highly matrixed environment with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills.  Ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver results. 
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships, internally and externally across multiple cultures and geographies 
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through required
