Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Job Responsibilities

•    Global Business partner for Commercial functions
•    Prepare & review quarterly Sales, Margin and Accounts Receivable forecast, annual budget and support for strategic plan for the global ICT business
•    Lead Sales and Operations Planning process for Finance
•    Review and analyze revenue related accruals
•    Provide Free Cash Flow analysis and actionable recommendations in terms of Free Cash Flow improvement
•    Responsible for compliance with local GAAP and company policies
•    Provide insights and recommendations driven by data analytics
•    Track and drive improvement in commercial KPIs
•    Drive continuous improvement in forecast and reporting processes
•    Manage a team of 3 people. Set the direction for and lead the team of highly skilled and motivated financial analysts.
•    Ad-hoc projects and requests by business unit management, segment management, corporate FP&A team

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
•    MBA or CPA preferred
•    7+ years plus in FP&A or business analytics role
•    Strong excel knowledge and demonstrated data analytics.
•    Ability to create pro forma or forecasted Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
•    Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, for a senior executive audience.  Able to tactfully highlight and defend positions in front of senior management.
•    Ability to develop talent, and effectively coach and motivate financial analysts and others
•    Financial system / ERP knowledge a plus (SAP, Hyperion, BPC)
