TE is seeking a passionate, and results-oriented Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) champion to join our marketing and communications team. This newly created role will be pivotal to shaping our I&D narrative, including creating and driving impactful initiatives that foster a truly inclusive work environment.
 In this role, you will collaborate with business unit and segment teams, the corporate I&D team, and our Women in Networking (WIN) ERG to execute strategic initiatives. You’ll develop and implement creative and impactful communications and materials, from email to SharePoint pages, training materials and more. Your excellent writing and editing skills will be pivotal to craft and deliver messages that inspire and engage employees at all levels. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller who can communicate across written, oral, and digital platforms, both internally and externally.

 

 Key tasks/responsibilities 

•    Define a project plan to support awareness and adoption of I&D key initiatives, with a big focus on allyship. Partner within our business unit, as well as transportation segment I&D Council, WIN ERG, and center I&D team members to execute.
•    Craft a comprehensive communications plan for I&D, including compelling content for both internal and external consumption –stories, campaigns, and events 
•    Partner with senior leaders, the corporate I&D manager, and WIN ERG to champion I&D initiatives and programs, including external communications that will increase TE's brand as a diverse and inclusive workplace
•    Own internal SharePoint sites related to segment, BU, and WIN I&D initiatives and develop engaging content that will increase traffic to the pages
•    Track and analyze communications-related performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for continuous improvement

What your background should look like:

 

•    A strategic, enthusiastic, and creative communicator with a proven track record of developing impactful communications.
•    A champion for I&D that can develop strategic initiatives to raise awareness, increase allyship, and create culture change. Experience working with employee resource groups (ERGs) or with external I&D Networks a plus.
•    Proficient using project management or PMO skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
•    A collaborative team player, with good influencing and networking skills that can gather, analyze, and use performance data to monitor and present impact of campaigns and projects.
•    Bachelor’s degree with three to five years work experience  in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations.
•    Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe Creative Suite skills would be a plus.
•    Fluency in English.

COMPENSATION


•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,960 – $100.440 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
