Supervisor (f/m/d) Advanced Quality Engineering

Job Overview


•    Lead the Advance Quality Engineering (AQE) team to achieve the quality goals, such as: B. the punctual market launch of products
•    Ensure a required level of AQE activities, which are necessary for the own AQE team in LEANPD projects (Lean Enterprise Accelerated New Product Development) until PPAP approval
•    Tracking the team's annual achievement of AQE goals
•    Coordination with other core project functions by providing input for project analyzes, feasibility studies, design reviews and providing high-quality APQP results according to the Lean PD process
•    Continuous development of our own AQE members to meet LEANPD and automotive standards (AIAG / VDA) with the aim of exceeding customer expectations
•    Ensure that lessons learned are processed and implemented within the company's own AQE team
•    Assess quality-related deviations during the APQP process, including escalation, definition, implementation and execution of corrective actions
•    Support in the development and implementation of general and quality-related standards, procedures within the TE organization and training of these requirements
•    Support of the rollout and the execution of standard tools: APIS, Q-DAS, Lessons Learned Data
•    Lead, manage and motivate employees who are involved in quality activities
•    Develop, manage and change quality control systems as needed to achieve performance results.

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar qualification
•    At least 5 years’ experience in quality management within automotive field. Experience in Advanced Quality Engineering is an advantage
•    Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
•    Knowledge in FMEA, process flow, control plan, MSA, Gage R&R, GD&T
•    Expertise in problem-solving tools such as 8D, PPSR, 5 Why, Pareto principles and data analysis, Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent will be high appreciated
•    Ability to prioritize problems, analyze situations, and implement effective corrective actions
•    Drive to results and solution-oriented mindset
•    Positive and never give-up thinking
•    Ability to respond to changes in the work environment
•    Travel availability 
•    Systematic, goal-oriented and independent way of working
•    Fluent written and spoken German and English
