Job Description: 

Job Requirements

  • Design and develop RF connectors for high-speed automotive applications, including camera, display, and Ethernet connections
  • Perform electromagnetic simulations and collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing teams to optimize connector designs
  • Characterize RF performance in both frequency- and time-domains, driving continuous design improvements
  • Own RF topics within interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring technical excellence
  • Partner with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to define RF connector requirements for high-speed applications and translate them into product specifications
  • Plan and oversee validation testing in internal and external labs, and present results to customers

 

Your ideal profile:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF design or related field
  • Hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in RF component design, electromagnetic simulation (e.g., CST, HFSS), and RF characterization (e.g., VNA, TDR)
  • Preferred: Background in RF connector design, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Preferred: Familiarity with high-speed automotive applications and protocols (e.g., SerDes, Automotive Ethernet)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional, global teams
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
