Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Industrial Business Unit seeks a Global Product Manager (GPM) to oversee a $100+M portfolio within a specific sub-vertical. Responsible for all aspects of the portfolio lifecycle, including strategy, revenue, and profitability, the GPM will drive business scaling and growth through new product introductions and market expansions. The role focuses on portfolio rationalization and gross margin expansion through improved mix and reduced production costs, requiring strategic thinking and strong commercial skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Develops a clear portfolio strategy for strong financial results and drives innovation through idea generation and prioritization.
• Ensures alignment of vision and strategy throughout the organization, leveraging market insights for decision-making.
• Collaborates with various teams to execute product roadmaps and develop new products meeting market needs.
• Executes business plans, defines resource requirements, establishes pricing policy, and partners with regional management for effective go-to-market strategies.
• Manages P&L, drives growth, leads critical projects, and tracks progress towards business goals.
• Manages multicultural teams, fosters growth mindset, and communicates effectively across the organization.
• Builds M&A pipeline, cultivates relationships, and drives partnerships to enhance customer relevance.

What your background should look like:

• Extensive experience in product management, strategy, or business development.
• Proven success in portfolio management, including optimization and product launches.
• Strong track record of financial performance improvement.
• Global leadership experience with high-performing teams.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Industrial market exposure desired.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• MBA or relevant P&L experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Proficiency in English required. German is a plus.
